Plot Quickie:

Plot Keywords:

Comments:
Lain is a thinking-person's series. You have to sit through the first
disc (4 episodes) before the series grabs you and hauls you along.
VERY disjointed, reminding me of Vampire Princess Miyu. Very surreal -
it's all about the plot. The series journals Lain's exploration of the
Wired (Virtual Reality) and its connections to life in the real world.
My gripes:
Art was somewhat static, and done in watercolors - I'm not sure if I
liked the effect.
My likes:
A plot which keeps on giving. Nice soundtrack, and I like the computer
interface concept.
